When Dan Mainzer called me for his new business in town I was eating my tuna on a mediterranean sauce: olives, capers and tomato sauce as my grandmother's recipe. He asked me to reproduce his new logo, made by Zacc Pollitt, on a rounded wooden board to be hung on the front of his new fish and seafood store. 3 weeks of detailed wood carving and painting process gave to Nosara the sign for this new fish sale shop. So I called my mom to ask her other grandma's recipes.

I met Janice Camp for the first time in the water and we kept talk about signs between wave and wave for more then a year. The big trunk came in my mind after different proposals and ideas and the result now is total amazing. For the Nomadic Hotel I also realized different small signs, one of that are 10 lasered double side door sign for the cleaning room service. Work with laser is incredible for results with details.
The big trunk weights 400Kg and only with a scraper we were able to move it over the wood feet posed and linked on 2 armed concrete bases. "Simple" and total effect. Brandon Richardson asked me to realize something that had to catch eyes of people and respect image of his Realty Company. Design came from an idea of Nathan Jackson, part of the team of Wanderlust Realty. 250 hours of work on projects, wood, steel and LED adding 6 full days of installation was my fine and detailed work. So proud of this project I'm always happy to work on big sign!

That tree. When I met Charlotte De Rock and her family they asked me to value their house with a beautiful sign. First of all I wanted to work on a logo design for the house. When I step on the back yard, of course I was stunning about the ocean view but a tree, a big tree catch my attention. I though: Yes, that tree will be the recognizable part of the logo of Casa Fenomenal! Stainless steel on a pochote wood with teak structure was the idea of the sign. Modern and classic. I simply love how the sign came out!

All project was thinked in 2 main entrance carved wood signs and teak structures, 1 garden carved wood sign and 5 small carved wood signs for the houses and the yoga duck, sorry deck. All pochote wood was designed originally and worked hard to have a brightness and cool image. If you'll see some ducks around playa Guiones you now know where they come from.

This was my real restore of wood signs. Pieces was missing, paint was with bubbles and wood was crack in different point. Replace the wood, sanding, recarving and repaint was an incredible success. Now every time I pass by Big Wave Daves I turn my eyes to check if the sign is still beauty as 10 years ago.

We also build a beautiful A-frame chalkboard with two mini wood signs on top to announce daily specials of the delicatessen. Super details and a lot of love for this amazing project.
